ABOUT
Chelsea Foster is a fine art film photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia, whose work centers around themes of waste, decay, and abandonment. A Georgia native, Chelsea has had a lifelong fascination with the diverse and often dystopian southern landscape, which she explores through the analog photographic process — primarily medium format color negative film.
As an avid environmentalist, her body of work exists as an ongoing investigation into a culture of waste, seeking to confront the notions of disposability and permanence in manmade spaces.
Chelsea received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, before returning to Atlanta in 2016, where she lives with her beloved 22-year-old cat, Dookie.
